UAE to increase its presence in space - Venus

After the grand victory and celebration of UAE witnessing its first astronaut Hazza Al Mansouri visiting the International Space Station (ISS) and successfully executing an uncrewed space exploration to Mars, Venus is next.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai took to Twitter to announce the delightful news of a new space mission and its motives. The new mission is aimed toward planet Venus and seven asteroids. An asteroid is a rocky appearance like object that orbits the Sun. They are smaller than planets.

The first Arab landing on an asteroid situated 3.6 billion km away will also be executed. This is unique as it is seven times the journey that was executed by the UAE’s Hope probe to Mars.

The video message shared on Twitter by His Highness highlights patriotism, pride and ambition.

Waves have been emerging with immense positivity and motivation since the announcement made.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, also tweeted about the mission.
