Wildfires taking over the famous tree of California - Sequoia

Bordered with Nevada on the east and Arizona to the southeast, California is a state known for its valuable and unique properties. Nature in the form of terrains, famous forests such as the redwood forest,  Sierra Nevada Mountains, Central Valley farmland and the Mojave Desert are a few names that give California its majestic reputation.

With the abundance of nature can come calamity, in the face of wildfires. A wildfire is an unexpected and definitely unwanted type of fire that spreads uncontrollably in areas of burnable vegetation. It occurs in both rural and urban areas.

In recent events it has been known that not only has the wildfire erupted in California but made a way to one of California's most precious and famous trees, the Sequoia.

The Sequoia trees were burned extensively, primarily at the Redwood Canyon. The fire unfortunately covered a massive 85,000 acres. The numbers do not stop here and since the fire was not contained, the actual number of how many Sequoia trees have become victim to this natural disaster.
